Taylor Schindler, Principal

Taylor Schindler is the founder and managing principal of Pine Lake Public Affairs Group, a Georgia-based public affairs firm. 

Prior to founding Pine Lake P.A., Taylor began his career working for Georgia’s 11th & first Republican Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle. During his time with the Lt. Governor’s organization Taylor served in a variety of roles working his way up from intern to Director of Legislative Affairs, where he aided in negotiations on the state's annual budget, helped oversee the passage of legislation through the senate process, and worked with the Governor & House of Representatives to perfect legislative priorities. Taylor also led as Cagle’s chief political aide for his successful 2014 reelection campaign, which resulted in him being reelected by a 58% margin. 

Taylor later entered the private sector working for an Atlanta based public policy advocacy and research firm serving businesses, associations, state & local governments, higher education, non-profit organizations, and private causes. He later worked as the southeastern regional policy lead for North American grocery e-commerce leader Instacart covering a territory of thirteen states and the District of Columbia.

In addition to his work with Pine Lake Public Affairs, Taylor also serves as the Director of Powering Georgia, an industry-led, nonpartisan coalition of Georgians focused on accelerating innovative & affordable energy growth in Georgia by finding and connecting landowners, farmers, business leaders, and community stakeholders who understand that a modern, pro-business infrastructure requires local, scalable solutions.

Taylor is a 10th-generation Georgian and attended South Gwinnett High School and the University of Georgia, where he studied History. 

Taylor and his wife, Liana, have two children, Savvy & Noah, and reside in Watkinsville, Georgia.
